Prior to the release of Microsoft Visual Studio.NET, Microsoft Visual Basic 6 was our primary development tool and has served us well over the years.  Although we do not use Visual Basic 6 for any new developments, we still keep it for backward compatibility with older bespoke applications that we have created in the past.
